COURT ORDERED TREATMENT

At Turning Point Recovery, we understand the unique circumstances that contribute to life challenges. Our greatest passion is helping others along their path to recovery from substance use and problematic behavioral patterns, whether you're a first time DUI recipient or someone who has struggled in addiction for years. There is no shame in asking for help and admitting you can't do it alone. In fact, that's the very first step! We have a variety of services dedicated to helping you succeed in your own recovery and would be honored to be part of your journey.

Police Car

If you have been charged with a DUI, ADOT may ask you to complete a screening to have your license suspension lifted. If you've already been convicted of a DUI, the screening is the fist step in the legal requirements and is used to determine any treatment that may be required.

Driver Behind Wheel

If your license was revoked due to a DUI, you will need to have a specialized evaluation after you have completed all of your required services. This evaluation is our attestation to ADOT whether or not we feel your substance use still interferes with your ability to drive safely. If you're done with your services and ready to complete your revocation application, click here to download the documents needed from ADOT.

Support Group

This group is state approved and in accordance Arizona Revised Statutes to provide you with new relationship, communication, and behavioral skills. These skills are designed to help you better navigate challenging relationships and scenarios without losing your cool.

Support group

Whether you are mandated to treatment or need some extra support in your recovery, we're here for you! Our group conveniently meets every Sunday evening to accommodate your busy schedule and have you home in time for dinner!

Liquors

This screening helps us recommend an appropriate level of care for your unique needs and situation to be sure you get the care you need to help prevent substance use from being a problem again in the future.

Smiling Teacher

Arizona mandates a 16 hour education course for everyone convicted of a DUI. Our course is 100% online and completely self-paced so you can complete your services on your time from the comfort of your home. Do 5 minutes here and there, or complete all 16 hours today - it's YOUR choice!

In court

If you've received a criminal charge such as domestic violence or disorderly conduct, you may be required to complete DV offender treatment or anger management. This screening will help us determine how many sessions you will need to comply with your court order.

DUI Education Course is conveniently offered in a self-paced online format to accommodate your busy life. Contact us to schedule your screening and get started today.

*Please Note: DUI Education, SA Group, and DV/AM Group require appropriate screenings prior to attendance. Screenings are offered both in-person and virtually from the comfort of your own home. Virtual attendance requires a stable internet connection and webcam.

ADULT INTAKE

The intake is first step in the process to get started in any type of therapy services. The intake allows us to get to know each other, talk a little bit about your background and the challenges that are bringing you in for support, as well as a complete assessment which will give us some ideas on how to help. We call this assessment the "Bio-Psycho-Social" Assessment, because mental health is a combination of our biology, our psychology, and our social environment. By taking a look at all of these areas of your life, we can develop a treatment plan unique to you and your needs and goals.

Contact us today to schedule your intake and start working towards your goals!

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

This is your opportunity to address whatever challenges or barriers that are preventing you from moving forward. We believe in the power of change and the value of having an unbiased person to listen and provide constructive feedback. Therapy takes a commitment to honesty, consistency, and follow through to reap the benefits and see the change you desire.

Our individual therapy services are guided by you. In our very first meeting, what we call the intake, we will work together to create a treatment plan that outlines the goals you have identified and a collaborative plan to begin taking steps towards these goals. We are trained in a variety of treatment modalities and will select the interventions which are most appropriate based on your specific concerns, goals, and time frames.

EMDR stands for "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing". It is a specialized form of therapy designed to target and treat traumatic memories and events that have become intrusive in your life. While EMDR is most well-known for its treatment of PTSD, it is also highly effective for conditions such as OCD, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Acute Stress Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, and more. If you'd like to know more about this specialized treatment and if it is right for you, let's talk about it in your intake and we can decide together if it's a good fit for your needs!
